Privacy Policy

Whisper Notes does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data from the app. We do not operate user accounts, advertising profiles, or an app analytics service.

We cannot access your recordings, imported media, transcripts, summaries, notes, or exported files.

Supported speech-to-text and note-processing features run locally on your device. Your content is stored in the app’s local storage and is not uploaded to our servers.

When you use the Apple Watch companion app, recordings you choose to send are transferred between your Apple Watch and iPhone using Apple’s device communication services for local processing.

Whisper Notes requests access only when needed for a feature you choose to use. Depending on your device and usage, this may include:

• Microphone access to record audio.
• Speech recognition access when required by an enabled system feature.
• Files, media, or photo-library access when you choose to import or export content.
• Notifications or widgets when you choose to enable them.

You control when and where content is exported or shared. If you send an export to another app, cloud drive, person, or service, that recipient’s privacy practices apply. We do not receive a copy.

Because app content is stored locally, you control its retention. You can delete individual recordings and notes in the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to any device backups or exports you created.

Whisper Notes does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

This website may use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and improve the site. Website analytics are separate from the Whisper Notes app and do not provide us with your recordings, transcripts, or app content.

We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will always be published on this page.
